Finally completed another pattern and tutorial.

Cats seem to have a charm where they look good with anything placed on their heads. This is my version of a cat bandana that is simple to make with leftover fabric you have lying around. I hope your cat enjoys it!

Mini Kraft Notebooks Tutorial

IMG_1951

And yet another christmas is coming. Once again I sought for and idea for little gifts that I can just hand out to some of my friends and a perfect size to also send overseas. These mini notebooks are perfect for the occasion, each with a customized stamp cover and so easy to make in batches!

What you need:

  • A4 Stiff Kraft Paper; I say kraft paper but this can really be whatever you like. Just be sure it has some stiffness to it since it’s going to be the cover of your note books
  • A stack of A4 white printing paper; I used normal reflex printing paper for this but the inside of the notebook can be whatever you like eg. graph or lined paper
  • PVA glue
  • Bulldog clips
  • Things to decorate with; I used my rubber stamps
  • Metal Ruler and Knife
  • Card board scraps
  • Double sided Tape; Or a glue stick. This is used to stick the notepad to the cover

Buntings on a String Tutorial

Edit3_img_1159

So after my half year exchange to England, I have fallen in love with their festive buntings that was seen everywhere in their little towns. So I made my own buntings where the flags are simply threaded through a piece of string and can be arranged when needed.

What you need:

  • Template; Download PDF
  • String; I used a natural cotton rope with medium thickness.
  • Fabric; This depends on your bunting design. I chose 3 different fabrics, one for the front, one for the back and one as a decorative strip.
  • Decorations (optional); Also dependant on your design. I used some iron on appliques
  • Sewing tools; Pins, scissors, measuring tape, pencil and sewing machine
